Christmas 2023
Welcome to our Christmas Newsletter – just like that 2023 is coming to an end!
We have been blessed with some wonderful warm weather and I thank you all for coming out and cooling off in your local pool. We want you to have the best possible experience at our pools so just a reminder to be sun smart and wear sunscreen, keep hydrated, stay safe and continue to keep watch over those under your care. On behalf of everyone at QPRC Aquatics, we wish you a safe and happy holiday, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Kind regards,
Matthew William (Team Leader – Aquatics)
Important Announcement
We will be painting the Queanbeyan Outdoor Pool after Easter in 2024. To prepare for that, we need to check for leaks. Unfortunately, when we attempted the test a few weeks ago it rained and we weren’t able to complete the test. We will now run the test on Thursday 21 December.
This means that the Outdoor Pool will be closed on Thursday 21 December and will re-open at 12 noon on Friday 22 December. The Indoor Pool will still be open and the Splash Park will be open with extended hours from 10am till 6pm.
